Every member of the AOA is a subject to the following terms and conditions:

1.1. AOA is a non-profit organisation with no political or religious affiliation.
1.2. The purpose of AOA is to promote educational opportunities at the University of Cambridge and the University of Oxford for students from Azerbaijan, and to create social and professional community among current and former students of the two universities.
1.3. The name, the symbols and the website of the AOA are not to be used by the members of AOA for any purposes other than those stated in Article 1.2. The improper use of the name, the symbols or the website, including but not limited to political, business or personal promotion, may result in the cancellation of membership.

2. Membership in the AOA

2.1. The membership in the AOA is automatically offered to every individual satisfying the following two conditions:

• 2.1.A - a current or former student of an academic program at either the University of Cambridge or the University of Oxford,
• 2.1.B - who is currently holding an Azerbaijani citizenship.

The membership, however, is not restricted to other individuals, and applications will be considered on case-by-case basis.

2.2. Every applicant for a membership in the AOA may be asked to produce a proof of one or both of the conditions mentioned in Article 2.1. Inability to produce such a proof may result in a denial of membership.

3.1. All member of the AOA are granted an indiscriminate access to the member area of the AOA website. The content of the member area is designed for members only and should not be disclosed to public without an explicit consent of the administration of the website and all parties that may be involved and/or affected by this content.
3.2 Any personal information of the members made available to other members of the AOA, including but not limited to personal profile, forum postings, pictures and blog entries, should remain within the members-only area of the website and may not be disclosed to the general public without an explicit consent of the person(s) involved.
3.3. Any violation of the rules listed in Articles 3.1 and 3.2 may result in a discontinuation of the membership.

 By becoming a member of the AOA I verify my agreement to the principles of the AOA and my acceptance of the above stated terms and conditions. I also understand that these terms and conditions may change in the future.
